I'm using CentOS 7, with Gnome desktop.
Beyond compare 4.3.4 build 24657.
When I run BC over X11-forwarding, (CentOS -> Windows, comparing source code on a linux machine that I can't copy over to Windows), the performance of BC is best described as "sluggish" over Ethernet, and downright unusable over WiFi.
If I run xRDP and connect to the system over Remote Desktop via WiFi, BC actually is more responsive than when I am running it over X11-forwarding on Ethernet.
I can run terminals and programs like NetBeans over X11-forwarding without issue, but BC is by far the worst when it comes to performance.
Is there something I can change in settings to improve the performance over X11-forwarding, or is there some inefficiency that can be fixed?
