User interaction in Cirrus seems lower priority than BC2

I'm currently using build 441, and my biggest complaint (which I'm learning to live with .. ) is that when I do folder compare of large folders, I am routinely interested in specific files all over the directory trees. With BC2, I could immediately begin to traverse the directories even though the initial compare was not complete. With Cirrus this is sometimes true, but I will eventually get to a level in the directory tree where I try to enter a folder and it doesn't expand for upwards of 30 or more seconds.

Besides only comparing the specific files, any pointers for working around this?

I can't think of a workaround at this point, but we are aware of the problem and have some ideas for improvement. We will try to have something for the next release.
