Any update on Elevated permissions in GUI?

Found some older posts on request for being able to elevate the permissions via the GUI to compare folders that the current logged in user may not have access to.

Has there been any progress on this feature for Mac?

Hello,

There are no updates for this behavior at this time. You would need to launch BC4 with elevated privileges on start. If it helps, use the Beyond Compare menu -> Install Command Line Tools to install bcompare to the command line.
