SFTP site encoding

Hi,
I want to compare local files with some on a sftp site. Unfortunately the file names are not displayed correct on the sftp site view.



How can I correct this?

Hello,

Are you using the latest release of BC4 (4.1.9)? All 4.x updates are free for 4.x users.

The SFTP Profile defaults to detecting the encoding, but you can manually override this using the Tools menu -> Profile dialog, select your profile, in the Server tab, uncheck Use Default, then override with the correct encoding of the server.
