files mismatch

hi there!
your program meets my needs, but i keep getting a file-mismatch on identical files. i read about different line-endings, but even if i compare with rules based comparison, i get the same result.
if i can solve that problem, i will buy your product.
any hints?

If you're opening the files in the File Viewer and getting a mismatch, but no mismatch is visible, it might be a white space difference. It might help to select View|Show Whitespace.

If that doesn't help, I can take a look at the files to determine what is causing the problem. You can email the files, along with a .zip of your settings using Help|Support and the Export button to [email protected] .

i managed to find out: the settings for rule based comparison with line-endings solved the problem. great tool!
i will be another happy user!
