Any way to terminate a BC script job started from command line?

When running a scripted job from a commandline or scheduled task with the /silent option, is there any way to cause an "orderly" early exit? Other than Task Manager "End Process"?

I've tried CTRL-C and CTRL-BREAK from the command window, but they appear to have no effect.

    Hello,

You would need to kill the bcompare.exe process if /silent is used. Instead of using /silent, you could use /closescript which will show the script window while the script is running then auto-close it when finished, which presents a user interface to Cancel.
