Future request: BC Version without X-Window

a BC Version without X-Window would be extremely good for automations, which allows you to step on the big "automation market". Automation is everywhere and could be easily and successfully done with a BC version without X-Window.

I have already done a good automation with BC, but right now its only a Client-sided solution (thats okay, but a server-sided would be awesome of course!).

So that Thread is just a request, I know you already mentioned the need for X-Window is in the BC-Core and hardly to remove / make it optional.

Thanks for the suggestion. Due to the tools used to build BC4 on Linux, we still require X-Windows. It's on our radar to try and support automation without X-Windows, but is a very large project and not one we'll be able to support soon. I'll add your notes to our wishlist entry on the subject.
