Support Nemo File Manager with context menu

Any thoughts on getting the context menu to work on nemo, which is the default file manager on Linux Mint these days?

I know it is a fork of nautilus, but following the manual steps for nautilus (replacing nautilus with nemo) does not enable the right-click context menu.

Does following this troubleshooting guide help?

Also, you may need to reboot after the setup and enabling the option.

If not, there is a link in there for manual installation of the context menu. Does this help get you going?

I did try that (and the associated manual steps in the linked to page). I have also restarted. I have the compare option set to open on main window.

      No luck.

Thanks for the information. I've setup a Mint test system and have had trouble getting the shell extension to work. We'll look into if we can add this support. I suspect it might be related to the naming conventions of lib vs lib32, but we'll need to investigate further before we can determine if this enhancement can be made.

In the meantime, I would suggest having a BC3 window open, and drag and drop your files into the window (home screen, or onto the blank panes).

[Linux Mint] BC3 support for Nemo

            Maybe this will help:

(I had the same problem with Linux Mint + Cinnamon + Nemo and also tried to copy the BC Nautilus' extension into Nemo folder, but that didn't work.)
