    Blanks in hexadecimal mode

    Hello,

Sometime in hexadecimal mode there is blanks, for example:

    08 0a 1b ef 05

And I open this same file with an other hex editor, there is no blanks,

Could you tell more about this?

    Thanks for your help,

    Rémi ;-)

    Hi Rémi,

Beyond Compare's Hex Compare aligns bytes to compare them, this is why there are gaps.

To prevent bytes from being aligned, select "Session > Session Settings". Go to the "Comparison" tab. Select "None" as the alignment type.
