    Screen refresh after using Align

I am using ALIGN to manually select a left file from multiple files that have a revision appended to the filename, and align it with a version in the right file that has no revision in the filename. The issue is, after right clicking and selecting ALIGN each time, the screen refreshes back to the top of the file list. I have a few hundred files, and its time consuming to have to scroll back down each time to where I left off. It would be much easier if the screen remained in the same location in the file list.

Or, is there a way to turn this off?

    Thank you,
    Brian

    Hello,

No, not currently. The alignment triggers a Refresh (the Folder Compare has both Refresh and Full Refresh commands), which resets the scrolling and expanded folder state. It's something on our wishlist to tackle, but there isn't a workaround to this behavior.

Thanks, kind of a small feature but would result in huge time savings.

        Hello,

As with a lot of development, it's rarely as small as it appears to implement. But we are agreed, it would be nice to preserve the state through the refresh.
