data compare column resize

Please allow an option to NOT resize columns at all.

For huge files, the bulk of the comparison time is taken by the resize. In addition, every small modification I make causes resize to be updated, leading to enormous slowdown. It's so bad that I end up using Excel for comparison in some cases.

I consider it nearly a deal-breaking issue for the very large files that I work with.

I would like to +1 this request. It would be a huge improvement for me, for what I assume is a small amount of development effort.
