    Line endings display

I've just upgraded to BC 3 in the hope that it would highlight line endings more precisely but it seems the same as BC 2. The text display shows the same in both panes (the Windows line ending icon) but the new hex display shows one line finishing correctly 0D 0A but the other is 0D 0D 0A.

Hex Compare shows the differences but it would be good to see it Text Compare too as that's the most used view.

By default BC doesn't compare line ending characters.

To see these as different, select Session > Session Settings. In the Importance tab, check "Compare line endings (PC/Mac/Unix)".

Also note that if you perform a Save File As... from the File dropdown menu, the Save File As dialog will show that your file with 0D 0D 0A has a line ending style of "Mixed" while your other file will have a line ending style of "Windows/DOS". To correct the line ending problem, change "Mixed" to "Windows/DOS" and resave the file.
