    Dataviewer: Manually specify colums?

Is there a description of the .bcdv file used to store column comparison rules somewhere?

I have two files with 80+ columns (fixed width) and I'm not real clear on the easiest way to define those columns.

Seems to me the easiest way would be to just create a .dbcv file with the column descriptions cut and paster from existing layouts...

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The format of .bcdv files changes from release to release of the Data Viewer, so we prefer not to post it here, but if you send an email to [email protected] we'll send you details with the format for the current version of the Data Viewer.
