BC 2.2.4 build 222 released

Today we released Beyond Compare version 2.2.4.

This is a maintenance release that fixes several minor problems.

When I click on the download like to upgrade to the 2.2.4 build, the image that gets downloaded announces it as 2.2.3. Sure enough, if I install it, the version is 2.2.3 not 2.2.4. Is the a waiting period until the latest build actually is available?

Hi Mark,

You likely have an older copy of the download cached somewhere on your network. You can make sure you're getting the new release by using this build-specific URL:
www.scootersoftware.com/bc22en222.exe

(We've been asked why we don't use the build-specific URL on our download page. The reason is that if we do, download sites will use that URL and end up with out-of-date links.)
