BC2 handles characters differently to BC3 - How can I set the override default character set Western European (Windows) for all sessions.

Hello,

You'll need to set this per format (Tools menu -> File Formats dialog, each format including the default "Text Format" at the very bottom), and in the Conversion tab.

Per session it can be overridden, but cannot be set as a default for all sessions.
