Rendering is really slow in remote desktop

In remote desktop, the refresh/rendering of a two-way diff is really slow. As a comparaison P4Merge prints the diff under a second, but beyond compare can take more than 30 seconds just to rendering the two files with the differences. I only have this problem when under remote desktop on Windows 7.

Is that a know issue and is there a way to solve this?

    Thanks

Not a known issue, but I can think of a couple of things that could affect it. Try right clicking on the comparison thumbnail on the left side of the window and turning off the scale to fit option or try turning the thumbnail off entirely. You can also try changing the display filter to show all lines, so it won't have to refresh to add lines to the display. Finally, try right clicking on the line details at the bottom of the window to turn the bottom two edits off.
