SFTP limited to 2GB

Hi all,

I'm evaluating BC3 on Linux.
My machine is running Ubuntu 11.04, 32 bits

- The source side is a local directory, containg various files, some of them are DVD iso's which are 3-5 GB big.
- The target side is an sftp server running Solaris 10.

When I copy a file bigger than 2GB from source to target, only the first 2GB are transmitted.

Is that an expected behaviour?

Thanks for the report. That is not expected behavior; I'll bring it up with our linux developer as soon as he gets back from his holiday vacation.

I have the same problem, but I would swear it only happens *sometimes*. For instance, I just tried to copy a vbox .vhd file from one machine to another and it was truncated @ 2GB size.

This is still an issue with 3.3.5 ... any sign of a resolution in sight?

Sorry, we haven't been able to crack this one yet but it is something we are researching.

On a more positive note, it seems that BC's FTPS is not limited to 2GB, so this is a possible workaround if this protocol is also available to you.
