The size of the same file on Harddisc and on ftp are different shown

    Hello

The size of the same file on Harddisc and on ftp are different shown.
What can I do that they would be shown the the same size.
It would be equal which size - but the same.
    For example:
    On harddisc 921kB
    On ftp 895kB

    Please help - Thank you

    I have Version 2.4.1

Most likely, the system you are ftping to is a Linux or Unix system and is LF as the line ending character, while the file on your hard disk is using CR LF. The file sizes are different as a result. One way to make the file sizes the same is to use binary transfers when you ftp from one system to the other instead of ASCII (which automatically converts the end of line characters).
