    XLS differences shown as CSV

    Hi BC Guru's

Firstly thanks to all the people who are behind this forum which is really a boon to new learners.

I am comparing 2 .Xls files and the BC is showing the files as csv ,,,,,3er,,,wsaf,,s,er,,wewewer,,,.

The xls file has over 50 columns so if more than 2 columns are different on the same row, it is very difficult to trace it. Can anyone suggest a simplified solution for the same.

If you're using Beyond Compare 3, open the XLS files in the Data Compare. It will display in a column view, similar to Microsoft Excel.

If you're seeing CSV, then the file is probably displaying in the Text Compare.
