13046 Non-functioning Open With Associated Application on folder in .ZIP

1 On a folder in a .ZIP, right-click and select Open With > Associated Application.

    Expected: open with associated application.
    Observed: no action.

    Win XP.

This should be disabled until moved from wishlist (if already there) into program.

Thanks for the report. I'll open a tracker entry to look into this.

Sorry, I should have tried before posting.

Using 13046, I selected a subfolder in one zip-file and a txt-file in another zip-file. Executing the Open With/Associated Application opens an explorer window on the selected subfolder inside the first zip-file and notepad with the txt-file from the second zip-file.

As far as good, but I think this is possible because of W7 zip-support.

If this function should be supported by BC (needs to extract the zip temporarily, I think), for W7 (and probably Vista) this should be disabled.

        Greetings Lutz
