Beyond compare plug-ins for QTP

Hi,

I'm trying to automate file compare logic for more than one file with beyond compare application. While scripting, QTP is not identifying the object details in beyond compare application like menu, edit box, comparison button...etc.

Please let me know, is it require any plug-ins for QTP to script with Beyond Compare.

Does QTP refer to HP QuickTest Professional?

I've never used QuickTest Professional. Beyond Compare is written in Delphi, so if QuickTest Professional has settings specific to Delphi applications, that might help.

As an alternative, Beyond Compare has its own command line scripting support that you can use to generate a report. For details on scripting in Beyond Compare 2, see the "Command Line and Scripting" section of the help file.
