after ruinning rpm file in linux redhat can not see the program !

I tried to install BC3 on redhat 9, however after installation of rpm version of the BC3 package, can not find the program. I tried this on FC10, and it was very straight forward. Please help. Thanks.

Is there a shortcut installed in your Programming section of the Applications menu? Do you have a usr/lib/beyondcompare directory installed?

After installation you should be able to open a terminal and type "bcompare" to launch Beyond Compare.

Redhat 9 is a pretty old version of Linux (Redhat stopped supporting it in 2004), so it's possible the menu entries work differently than in modern Linux distributions.
