PST file lock

Hello

i am using BC3 mostly to backup to external drives
outlook pst files won't copy because locked

i found info in your faq about BC2 and outlook http://www.scootersoftware.com/suppo...kb_outlook.php

is there something similar for BC3 ?

In BC3 the Detect partial file locks is on by default for .pst files. The feature can be turned off or extended to other file types through the Tweaks dialog (Ctrl+Shift+T).

Beyond Compare still can't copy the file, but at least it won't corrupt the backup copy by hitting a lock part way through the copy.
