    View - Webpages = crash...sometimes

When viewing the comparison of two (say .c) files, select View-Webpages. I get a consistent crash.

I stumbled across this when I stumbled across BC's support for .CHM files. Next I wished for the ability to view the HTML in a browser view. Then I stumbled across the View-Webpages menu item. Neat.

    Just stumbling along,

    Ron

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for reporting the problem. I tried repeating this on my system but I haven't been able to repeat the crash.

Are you running the current version BC 3.1.6?

What version of Windows and Internet Explorer are you using?

      3.1.6 (10721)

      Version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.090206-1233

Corporate policy restricts me to IE 6.

Wait, think I found a clue in the crash output.

"exception message System Error. Code: 5. Access is denied."

Both sides are a read-only network share. -- and the problem only occurs with non-HTML files, like .C.

Thanks, ron. The additional info really helped, and I've reproduced a crash with similar circumstances on my system. I'll pass it along to one of our developers.
