Hello Chrisjj,

The Text Compare Align With is a temporary alignment, unlike the Folder Compare session setting. You cancel with a Refresh command.

Expanding this functionality is on our wishlist, but would be a large change.

I promise you there is already a Cancel Align With command.

Ahh,

The Cancel Align With is present in the Edit menu (same location as the Align With command) only during the Align operation.

I will mention updating our Help file with this information. I originally thought this was related to your post on 'deleting the Session Settings in order to cancel a Folder Compare alignment override'
