WHEN SFTPing INTO A LINUX SRV IT HANGS AFTER A WHILE

I have been enterprise user of Beyond Compare for a while, since version 2. And I have never seen this issue.

When we start a Folder Compare between two sftp servers, it loads everything fine but after a few files (from 24 to 234) the transfer of the rule-base comparison hangs. That has never happen before. We initially thought it was one of our linux sshd services, so we start tweaking it, but no luck.

Version 3.1.4 (build 10554) is the client in use.

Please let me know if I will need more information.

Could you turn on the debugging log in Tweaks (Ctrl+Shift+T, Folder Views tab, "Include debug messages in log") and send us a copy of the log and your Support package (help menu -> Support; Export)?

    Email these to [email protected]

If you download those files with another client, do you notice any issues? What version of BC3 were you using before that was working fine? If you limit the number of connections in Tools -> FTP Profiles do you notice it helps?

    Thanks.
