    10221 Help error?

"Understanding the Folder Compare Display" says

By default, the color meanings are:

    Black Match
but here (defaults, I believe) it is dark grey.

The default Match color is in fact black, used for the font for filenames and the little square "color spots". The folder icons are manufactured dynamically, using various lighter shades of the color in order to look like proper folder icons. A matching folder comes out as dark grey, a newer folder is a bit lighter than solid red, etc.

      Thanks for the confirmation

      Thing is, that Help says:

      Gray Older

...which is correct. A medium gray is the default "older" color.

My point is that Help says "Gray Older" and I see a gray folder, but that folder is not older - it is matched. See how this confuses the user?

Chris, I know you aren't confused about what a very dark folder icon means since you've been using BC for years. As far as other users go, I haven't had any reports of confusion since this was released in 2002 (with virtually the same help topic).

The dark grey folder icon is my representation of a black folder. If it was solid black, it wouldn't look much like a folder.

How about stating the folder colours in the Help?
