10221 NEw Folder on Documents and Settings failure is silent

If I use New Folders in C:\Documents and Settings\ when it fails (due presumably to OS protection), BC gives no notice to the user.

Hello,

The New Folder command under the Actions menu in the Folder Compare does not fail silently for me. It displays an error message in the Log that Access is denied (in the case of Documents and Settings and a limited user).

Could you provide more details on how you are seeing it fail silently?
