    3-way merge layout

I've used DiffMerge for 3-way merge and really like the fact that base is hidden away (but still viewable) and the result is in the centre. It's much easier for my brain to process the differences when it's laid out like that as opposed to looking down to see the result and having to continually seek out the correct part of the file.

To cut a long story short, it would be great to have a more configurable 3-way merge layout.

    Regards
    Clint.

    Hi Clint,

I suggested this before (see my post on March 21st, 2007 at 6:52 pm).

On a related topic, I also suggested a vertical swap button to swap the Input and Output panes

      3-way merge layout

      Hi Michael

Thanks for the information. Hopefully there are a few more "me-toos" and this feature gets implemented. It would make a big difference in usability for me.

      Cheers
      Clint.
