"Replace ..." only in Full Edit mode?

Hi!

Any of the "Replace ..." commands in the Text Compare and Text Merge seem to be only available, when Full Edit mode is activated.

Is this by design?

Yes.

If you position in line details, Replace is always available since it is always in Full Edit mode.

Ah yeah, I see ...

Hmm, wouldn't it be more intuitive to enable/disable that icon instead of show/hide it?
Same effect can be seen with Cut, Copy, Paste and Delete in the toolbar of Text Merge, when you let the focus cycle through the panes.
