    Re-align instead of Reloading Files

In a folder compare, there is a refresh, and a full refresh. I would like to see the same thing in a text compare/merge effort. A refresh would re-evaluated differences (reset manual alignments, etc.) without reloading the files and losing changes. A full reset would do a full file reload as it currently does today.
Another request that I've made, but never got a response on... Please provide a refresh button that re-aligns a compare without requiring a save or losing changes...even if it requires a confirmation dialog with a warning that "A re-align will reset the undo stack. Re-align anyway?"

      Doesn't Ctrl+F5 do this?

        Hello,

This forum thread is from 2008, and we added the Recompare command (Ctrl+F5) to the Text Compare based on this wishlist entry.
