    Stand alone diff viewer/editor

I'm using TortoiseSVN. You can define an external diff viewer for this and this works perfect. Only starting it from out of a file explorer is taking time...

What I like is that BC starts when I double click the file in Windows Explorer (or in Total Commander) that has been updated.

To clarify, do you want to double click a changed file (with red exclamation point icon) in Windows Explorer and have it open a diff in Beyond Compare?

I don't think TortoiseSVN provides a way to change the default behavior when double clicking a file in Explorer. You might be able to change file associations in Windows Explorer so double clicking a specific file type calls the SVN diff command.
