In BC2, I was able to highlight two MP3 files in the left pane, by holding the shift key and highlighting two adjacent files in the left pane or by holding the Control key and highlighting two files in the left pane. (All these comments apply to highlighting two files in the right pane too)
Then pressing the ENTER key caused the two files to be compared with the MP3 Viewer. The file higher in the selection window became the Left File and the file lower in the selection window became the right file.
In Cirrus, I click on one file and then using the shift or control key to select a second file in the same pane. When I press ENTER with both files highlighted, only the second file is opened with MP3 View.
