Is it possible to filter out files with a specific modified-by date?

I see that BC offers the ability to add an "other filter" using older- and newer-than filters but I see no equal-to option. Why? Is this achievable in any other way?

Sorry, Beyond Compare doesn't support setting a date equal-to filter. You'll have to set newer and older filters to limit the modified date to the value you're looking for.

While BC4 does not have the Equal filter, Chris' workaround achieves that logic by using two filters to Exclude everything Newer than, and then another to Exclude everything Older than, which leaves only the equal item. Are you having trouble with this workflow?

If the need is to exclude files with a specific date, to see files that are either older or newer, You might do this.
You setup two filters, as Chris and Aaron say.
So now You see only files that have that date, the opposite of what You want.
You select all and then exclude all files selected.
Now You take away the two filers, newer and older.
And so You see all file but those of that date.
