23150 Character align still splits words

Just a reminder that the issue of Text Compare character align splitting words by preferring scattered matches persists approx. ten years after I reported it and you said you hoped to address it. (Sorry but I can't find the original report.)

Thanks for the update. Defining a grammar can help weight this, but improving the character and word alignment is still something on our wishlist. I've added the above screenshot to our collection of example cases. As you've gathered, a new method of word alignment is not a small change and not one we've been able to tackle yet.
