Copy file from ClearCase view to regular file with read-only attribute removed?

Is there a way to copy a (non-checked out) file or folder to the regular file system with the read-only attribute automatically removed? Best if it can be accomplished with the BC4 GUI.

Hello,

If performing a regular copy command, this will bring over the attributes, which you can remove from the local side by selecting those files (Shift+Arrow keys to slide the selection from the source files to the destination files), then right-click -> Attributes.

Otherwise, you could need to use the Clearcase program to perform a Check-out, to follow standard procedure and get files without read-only protection.
