    Tar files

    Hi,

    I have multipart Tar files.

If a folder is in the part 2, there is a 0-length file in the part 1.

Furthermore, there are many files in the root of the tar files, but these files are not in the root, but in another folder.

    Best regards,
    Michel.

    Hello,

If you have example archives, please email them into [email protected] along with a link back to this forum thread.

I've tried creating multi-part .tar.002, but when I add this extension and expand in BC4, I'm seeing each individually unpack separate contents successfully.

Chatting with a developer, and this may be unsupported/unintended behavior. BC4 does not officially support multi-part tar files.

Thanks for your quick answer, Aaron.

Ok. I took another solution: uncompressing, then using BC4
