    Datenvergleich ext.HDD und FritzNAS ?

    Hallo

    === ENG translation ===

    Hi,
I have noticed the following: when I start a data compare of my FritzNAS via the FTP settings, and there is a space in front of the filename, it is displayed blue. However BC does not show any difference when I do the same comparison via a network drive which I connect via the system's workplace, and then select it inside of BC.
Is there the possibility that BC reads something different via FTP on FritzNAS than directly from a network drive?
If you can't follow my thoughts, I made a screenshot to better illustrate my problem.
Please note the paths on top of the screenshots (FTP and network drive).

    Hello,

If google translate has worked, the FTP Right Side has an extra space in the front, making the file name different compared to the local side. And if you access the same drive as a mapped drive letter, the space does not appear and the files align, correct?

You can right click any file name and select "Copy Filename", and Paste into a blank Text Compare to compare the file names. How do they differ?

If you access the same location out of BC4 (using Windows Explorer and/or Filezilla FTP Client) what file names are presented? Is the space there vs. not?

If the server presents the file name differently depending on how it is accessed, the difference in the file name would not align.

    Hallo,

No, it is exactly the other way round. There's always a space character in front of the filename. But it is not shown when I access it with BC via FTP; so the files are shown as different files (not aligned). Access with BC via the mapped drive is working fine.

        Hello,

And if you load the FTP in another FTP client like Filezilla, is it capable of listing the files with the front space?

        Hallo,

Unfortunately I haven't tested it yet. But I think it will not be a problem because Windows is able to show filenames with a leading space without any problem.
