compare where key fields are in different position for non csv

I read how you can compare 2 table or cvs files where the key field positions are in different locations.
How can you compare raw data files that have binary and alphanumeric data ?
Can you specify by byte position?

For example.
Compare byte position 100 to 120 in file A against byte position 20 to 40 in file B

Hello,

The Hex Compare session type shows byte by byte comparisons. This mode does not have a manual override, but does offer different alignment algorithms under the Hex Compare Session menu -> Session Settings, Comparison tab. Our trial is fully featured for testing, and available here:
