Feature request: Compare Linux device tree

Using BC3.3 on both Windows 7 and Linux Ubuntu 12. I would like to compare Linux ARM device tree files (they happen to be inside a TGZ file). Binary (compiled) files are '.dtb' extension, created by dtc (Device Tree Compiler). Is any BC support available?

If a .dtb file is a binary, you'll have to convert it to a text file before you can compare it in Beyond Compare.

If you can find a command line tool that will convert .dtb files to text, you can create a custom file format in Beyond Compare that will run the tool before comparison in the Text Compare. See the help file topic Text Format Conversion Settings.
