    Specify initial output of a 3-way text merge

    I can specify the output filename when I perform a 3-way text merge, but the initial text in the output pane is always the auto-merged result produced by BC. Is there a way to use the contents of my output file as the initial text in the output pane?

    In my case, I have an external tool that produces its "best guess" at a merge result. I'd like to use BC to display my output alongside the 3 inputs so that I can manually verify (and tweak) the results.

    Cheers, ++Brad

    It isn't possible to use a file as input for the output pane of the Text Merge. Output will always be filled with BC's auto-merge result.

        Is there an appropriate way to turn this into a feature request?
