Unable to use Pro version on Mac with P4v for merge

I've followed the instructions for using BC with P4V, as given below. However, it does not work. BC is launched but does not receive the command properly to open the files.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    P4V (The Perforce Visual Client)
Choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
    Switch to the Diff tab.
Change the Default Diff Application option to "Other application".
Enter the path to BComp.exe in the Location edit.
    Switch to the Merge tab.
Change the Default merge application to "Other application".
Enter the path to BComp.exe in the Location edit.
    In the Arguments edit, enter:
    %1 %2 %b %r

macOS instructions for Perforce are on a separate page from the Windows instructions.

Using Beyond Compare with Version Control Systems under OS X: https://www.scootersoftware.com/supp...s_osx#perforce

If the above instructions don't work for you, please let us know what version of Perforce you're using.

Unfortunately, those instructions also do not work. BC does not launch at all.

      P4V rev. is Rev. P4V/MACOSX1011X86_64/2017.3/1582486

It appears that there is nothing at /usr/local/bin/bcomp. How would I install that, or where would it be alternatively?

Select Beyond Compare > Install Command Line Tools from the menu to install the bcomp command.
