Hi whats difference between

DATA REPORT VS TEXT REPORT VS FILE REPORT

for example if i compare two text file with these report formats what difference I can find.

DATA REPORT creates file comparison reports using the Data Compare, so everything will be in a grid of rows/columns.
TEXT REPORT creates them using the Text Compare so it's all treated as plain text.
FILE REPORT creates the reports using whichever comparison type is appropriate based on the extension of the files.

DATA REPORT and TEXT REPORT have options specific to those comparison and report types. FILE REPORT is limited to just options that all of the different comparison types support, but is better if you're generating a report of a heterogeneous collection of file types .
