Doing file compare without orphan lines

Is it possible to do a file compare and ignore orphan lines? The orphan lines are known differences. Just need to know if there are other differences between the two files.

Hello,

This isn't configurable as a comparison criteria (to return results in a Rules-based scan or the bottom status bar as the overall results of the file's scan), but you can remove them from view for manual comparison.

Right click the Display Filters toolbar and switch to Toggles mode. You can then disable the orphan Left and Right lines specifically, and leave on other toggles as needed to view Same, Diffs (Aligned) or both at the same time.
