I have a server administrator requesting Beyond Compare be installed on a server for purposes of doing comparisons after version upgrades. Can a user/device license be purchased for this purpose? The server administrator would only be running a single instance of the software and would not be making it available to other users.

Yes, you can install BC4 on any computer (including a server) with a 1 user license if only one user then has access to run the software.
