    CPU usage - single or mult-threaded ?

Just wondering if beyond Compare uses single-threading or is able to utilise multi-threading with CPU usage ?

    Hello,

Multi-threaded. For example, you can have multiple tabs performing multiple actions while still interacting with the interface. Or, you can have a single folder compare tab performing multiple queues of transfers simultaneously.

Thanks Aaron for your reply. I had a situation yesterday where Beyond Compare produced strange results, and whilst it was running, I noticed the resources on the laptop appeared to be low. Low, as in video display was greyed out or inactive, plus the response was very slow. It took quite a while for some actions to be performed. I did check the resources and cpu and memory usage were not above about 20%. I got different results for the same 'compare set' ??

have described yesterdays problem at https://www.scootersoftware.com/vbul...-files-compare
