BC4, how to test it its working after installing it

I have the open source bcompare-4.1.9-21719.x86_64 installed on my Linux redhat machine el6.x86_64

I installed the rmp fine..I see the package installed ,

How can I test it to make sure it is working.

If I ran: bcompare on the command line I get nothing , the prompt back .

It looks like you also sent the same question by email, we can continue this discussion by forum or email, whichever you prefer.

Here's a copy of the response I sent by email:

Are you physically sitting in front of the Redhat machine, or are you accessing it remotely?

If you're accessing it remotely, do you only have an SSH terminal connection to the machine, or are you accessing it using an X-Window client or VNC?

If you're accessing it remotely and you don't have a graphical X-Window session, Beyond Compare will not run in a terminal only session (SSH).
