Questions about using Beyond Compare 3

Hi,
I have a couple of questions regarding the use of Beyond Compare 3.
1) Does any version of Beyond Compare have the ability to output the data compare report into a excel file? The text and html formats are not useful for analysis.

2) Beyond Compare 3 seems to have a problem with excel or csv file sizes around 50 MB or greater. It takes a very long time to process such files and sometimes just keeps hanging. Please note that I have a 32 bit Windows 7 operating system. What can be done to get Beyond Compare to process large files quickly?

Hello,

1) No, not in BC3 or BC4. We can output to Html layout or you can select/Copy cells in the Data Compare, then Paste into Excel.

2) The conversion requires running Excel, and depending on your system and RAM usage it may take awhile. BC4 has a different conversion utility which may or may not help (depending on files and system); you could install the trial to test without any purchase necessary:
