Screen Painting Issue With Horizontal Scrollbar

This issue has bothered me for a long time and has still not been resolved, so I've created a video to demo the issue.

To reproduce the issue, open a file compare that contains at least one long line of text. Click on a long line of text, and drag the horizontal scrollbar. Notice the text gets overlapped upon itself. To correct the text, move the cursor to a new line of text to force the pane to repaint.

Note: disabling view -> line numbers as suggested in this post does not fix the problem.

Hello,

The View Line Numbers bug is a similar but different issue. That one was fixed in 4.2.1, but the issue caused while scrolling a long horizontal line is still a known bug we haven't been able to tackle yet.
