json compare

Hi guys, I downloaded and am trying to use the JSON sorted file format, however it doesn't seem to be doing the sorting and I cannot seem to find the batch file that it indicates:

Helpers\JSON\JSON_sorted.bat %s %t

For me to troubleshoot it.

Can anyone tell me where this is or if there is more that I need to do to install file formats with external files?

Hello,

BC4 stores the Helper directory in your user's %AppData%\Scooter Software\Beyond Compare 4\Helpers directory. This is usually c:\users\username\AppData\Roaming. Typing %appdata% will auto-complete the path.

When downloaded from the website, and run with the Tools menu -> Import wizard, it should have copied the file into this directory. You can also double check the .bcpkg file to make sure the .bat is inside: .bcpkg is a renamed .zip file, so you can rename to .zip and open it.

Is the .bat in your download?
Is the .bat in your %AppData% directory?
